He is one of the founders of humanitarian work both inside and outside the Kingdom, playing a significant role in establishing Quran memorization associations. He has been instrumental in aiding the poor locally and globally, guiding youth towards moderation and rejecting extremism. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth and was the Chairman of the Africa Committee. He was among the first contributors to the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue and served as the Assistant Secretary-General of the Islamic Campaign to Confront Aggression.
