Trial and legal proceedings
The Specialised Criminal Court levelled two charges against him; conspiracy to establish a political party and [Khurouj] - to rebel – against the ruler. He was subsequently sentenced to ten years imprisonment. However, after the passage of this sentenced was completed, his sentence was extended to 15 years to be followed by a 15 year travel ban
