About The Detainee

A university professor, human rights activist, writer, and poet, he obtained a PhD in Arabic language from Al-Azhar University and a PhD in Philosophy. He was called the Sheikh of Activists, and he was the president and founder of the ACPRA. He has many files and great contributions in the field of human rights. He received several awards, including: Right Livelihood Award - an alternative prize to the Nobel Prize - in 2018 The Geuzenpenning Award for Human Rights in the Netherlands in 2020 He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize He was arrested several times previously.
