Nader Al-Dosari reveals that his brothers began a hunger strike due to arbitrary detention.

Nader Al-Dosari reported that his detained brothers started a hunger strike on September 25th due to their detention without reason. The Saudi authorities had arrested them on May 11th in retaliation for a commercial lawsuit he filed against the Saudi government in Pennsylvania. The authorities conditioned their release on his return to Saudi Arabia with his son Rakan.

The arrest included three of the brothers of Nader bin Turki Al-Dosari: Dr. Salman Al-Dosari, Sultan Al-Dosari, and Nayef Al-Dosari, in addition to his sister and his mother, Muneera Al-Qahtani, who holds Kuwaiti citizenship and is a cancer patient.

Al-Dosari revealed that his brothers were subjected to several severe violations, including torture by the warden of Al-Malaz Prison, Brigadier Jaber Al-Mutairi. They were transferred between cold cells and the scorching sun and treated as war prisoners. He also reported that some of his brothers were fired from their jobs, while the salaries of others were suspended.

SANAD organisation stands in solidarity with the Al-Dosari family against the persecution they face from the Saudi authorities. They strongly call for an end to the torture and poor treatment they endured and demand the immediate, unconditional release of the Al-Dosari family.
