Dr. Mohammed al-Hudhaif is one of the victims of the repressive Saudi regime

The Saudi authorities have continued to detain Dr. Mohammed al-Hudhaif since 2016 on several trumped-up charges fabricated by the Saudi regime due to his reformist ideas and tweets, which fall under freedom of expression.

The Saudi authorities did not stop at detention; they also committed several violations against him, including brutal torture such as beating and electric shocks, imprisonment with psychiatric patients, and deliberate medical neglect. He was subjected to an illegal secret trial, which resulted in a nine-year sentence that was later increased to thirteen years without any legal justification for this verdict.

SANAD Organisation for Human Rights calls on the Saudi authorities to immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Mohammed al-Hudhaif and compensate him appropriately, as well as to release all prisoners of conscience.
