SANAD Organisation demands the release of Dr. Razin Mohammed Al-Razin
The Saudi authorities have continued to detain Dr. Razin Mohammed Al-Razin, the Executive Chairman of the Consumer Protection Association, for more than 2340 days, without any legal reasons.
In prison, Al-Razin was subjected to a number of violations, including being forcibly disappeared for more than a year and a half in solitary confinement, and preventing his family from communicating with him, as well as delaying his trial in a clear violation of all local and international laws.
SANAD Organisation for Human Rights strongly condemns these arbitrary practices carried out by the Saudi authorities against Dr. Al-Razin and other detainees without legal justification and demands the immediate release of Dr. Al-Razin and all political prisoners, ensuring their safety and rights. SANAD Organisation emphasizes that forcibly disappearing Dr. Al-Razin for more than a year and a half in solitary confinement and preventing his family from communicating with him is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and demands an immediate halt to these inhumane practices.
