Nine Years Since Saud bin Ghusn’s Arrest as SANAD Renews Calls for His Release
These days mark the ninth anniversary of the arrest of Saudi preacher Saud bin Ghusn, who was detained by Saudi authorities in September 2017 as part of a crackdown targeting preachers, writers, and academics.
Bin Ghusn was arrested as he was leaving a mosque in Taif, where security forces detained him and took him to an undisclosed location. Since his arrest, no clear information has been available regarding his place of detention or legal status.
SANAD Human Rights Organization calls on Saudi authorities to disclose the fate of Saud bin Ghusn, release him immediately and unconditionally, release all male and female prisoners of conscience in Saudi Arabia, and provide them with appropriate compensation
