1570 Days Since the Arrest of Mohammad Al-Fawzan Abu Noura
It has been 1570 days since Saudi authorities arrested media activist Mohammad Al-Fawzan Abu Noura in March 2020, due to old tweets and videos in which he expressed his opinions.
Mohammad Al-Fawzan is known as a social media activist with numerous volunteer campaigns. He contributed to the media coverage of many activities carried out by the Saudi government. Despite this, the Saudi authorities arrested him without any crime or wrongdoing. Since his arrest, no trial has been disclosed, and the Saudi authorities have refused to release him.
SANAD Organisation for Human Rights emphasizes that freedom of opinion and expression is a fundamental human right and calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Abu Noura and appropriate compensation for him.
