Unknown detention conditions faced by the former Undersecretary of the Saudi Finance Ministry, “Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil”

Abd al-Hakim al-Dakhil, son of the detained former undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Finance, Abdul Aziz al-Dakhil, said that his family does not know anything about his father’s situation inside the kingdom’s prisons yet.

According to Abdel Hakim, he completely lost contact with his father, pointing out that there is no legal system for political detainees, saying, “We cannot take advantage of any lawyer to inform us about his situation.”

The unknown circumstances of al-Dakhil’s arrest came because of his bold and critical positions of the wrong economic policies in the Kingdom, and he always warned against adopting oil as a basic source for the country’s economy.
