
Dr. Razin Al-Razin Nears Nine Years in Detention Without a Fair Trial
Dr. Razin Mohammed Al-Razin, former chairman of the Executive Council of the Consumer Protection Association, is approaching nine years in detention since his arrest in September 2017. He remains detained without formal charges or a fair trial that meets basic legal safeguards.
According to information received by SANAD Human Rights Organization, Dr. Al-Razin has been subjected to serious violations since his arrest, including enforced disappearance for more than a year and a half, prolonged solitary confinement, and denial of contact with his family.
SANAD Human Rights Organization condemns Dr. Razin Al-Razin’s continued detention and calls on the Saudi authorities to release him immediately and unconditionally, along with all prisoners of conscience. SANAD also calls for justice, redress, and appropriate compensation for the years of detention and violations they have endured.
