1800 Days of Arbitrary Detention: Fadi Al-Nasser Deprived of Justice and Freedom in Saudi Prisons

Fadi Ibrahim Al-Nasser has completed 1800 days in Saudi prisons since his arrest in November 2019, following tweets in which he expressed his desire for employment. He remains under arbitrary detention to this day.

Despite more than five years having passed since his arrest, he has not been tried or released. During his detention, he has faced several violations, including being denied the opportunity to attend his father’s funeral, a clear violation of Saudi law, which allows for temporary release in cases of the death of a first-degree relative.

SANAD Human Rights Organization condemns the ongoing detention of Fadi Al-Nasser and calls for his immediate and unconditional release, urging the Saudi authorities to cease the violations against citizens and residents in the country.
