SANAD Human Rights Organization has received confirmed information that Saudi authorities have detained military officer Abdullah Khidr Abdullah Ghazi in state security prisons for over two years.
According to the information obtained by the organization, Abdullah Ghazi had previously been detained for 11 years and was released for a period of 4 years. However, he was re-arrested two years ago without any known reasons or formal charges.
SANAD strongly condemns this arbitrary action and demands the immediate and unconditional release of Abdullah Ghazi and all prisoners of conscience, calling on Saudi authorities to end the unjustified arrests that violate human rights and international standards for a fair trial.
