News of the Arrest of the Director of the Education Office in Rafha and His Sentencing to 13 Years in Prison
SANAD Human Rights Organization has received information indicating that Khalid bin Naji Al-Shammari, the Director of the Education Office in Rafha Governorate, was arrested over a year and a half ago following his criticism of the three-semester system during a discussion in a gathering.
According to informed sources, the Saudi authorities have issued a 13-year prison sentence against him. The information also suggests that he has been subjected to enforced disappearance inside a General Investigation prison, where he has only been allowed to communicate with his family once, through a phone call.
