The Continued Detention of Dr. Mohammed Suleiman Al-Barrak
The Saudi authorities have continued to detain academic Dr. Mohammed Suleiman Al-Barrak since September 2017 without any legal justification.
In prison, Al-Barrak has been subjected to numerous severe violations, including solitary confinement and being denied communication with his family for more than four months. He has not been tried or released, nor has he been allowed to appoint a lawyer, and he has also been subjected to deliberate medical neglect.
SANAD Organisation for Human Rights condemns the continued detention of Dr. Mohammed Suleiman Al-Barrak and calls on the Saudi authorities to release him immediately and unconditionally, as well as to release all prisoners of conscience.
