The third anniversary of the arrest of Rina Abdulaziz

These days mark the third anniversary of the arrest of activist Rina Abdulaziz, a 22-year-old university student, in May 2021 due to tweets expressing her opinions.

Rina suffers from a bacterial lung infection and has been subjected to enforced disappearance and arbitrary detention in the city of Qassim without any legal justification.

SANAD Organisation for Human Rights calls on the Saudi authorities to immediately release Rina Abdulaziz and provide her with the necessary compensation.
