Fadi Al-Nasser has been detained for over four years
In November 2019, the Saudi authorities arrested the young man Fadi Ibrahim Al-Nasser, due to tweets in which he demanded a job, and he remains under arbitrary detention to this day.
Despite more than four years since his arrest, he has neither been tried nor released. He has also faced a number of violations since his arrest, including being denied the right to leave and participate in his father’s funeral, in clear violation of Saudi law, which allows for temporary release in the event of the death of first-degree relatives.
SANAD Organisation for Human Rights condemns the continued detention of Fadi Al-Nasser and calls for his immediate and unconditional release, and for an end to the violations against citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia.
