Continued Detention of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Yamani

The Saudi authorities have continued to detain Dr. Ibrahim Al-Yamani since September 2017, without any legal reasons.

Previously, Sanad had issued a warning about Dr. Ibrahim Al-Yamani’s risk of death in prison, after the Al-Ha’ir Prison administration transferred Al-Yamani to a division that houses several criminals accused of murder, theft, and drug trafficking.

In the same context, Al-Yamani has been subjected to several violations, including solitary confinement, being denied communication with his family, and not being allowed to appoint a lawyer, in addition to being tried in secret.
