SANAD strongly condemns the unjust sentence issued against social activist Dalal Al-Khalil,

SANAD has received information that the Specialised Criminal Court has issued an 18-year prison sentence for Dalal Al-Khalil, the social activist and humanitarian. Al-Khalil has been detained since September 2017 for her social activism and has been imprisoned at the Tarfiyah Prison in Al-Qassim.

SANAD strongly condemns the unjust sentence issued against social activist Dalal Al-Khalil, as well as the types of cruel treatment, medical neglect and deprivation of basic rights she has been subjected to since her arrest. It calls on the authorities to release her immediately and all prisoners of conscience.
