More than Six Years Since the Arrest of Abdullah Yahya Al-Ghazwi

It has been over six years since the arrest of Abdullah Yahya Al-Ghazwi in May 2019, following a raid by Saudi security forces on his home in Qatif.

According to verified human rights information, Al-Ghazwi was subjected to a series of violations after his arrest, including enforced disappearance and denial of his legal rights. For a long time now, Sanad has received no updates or information regarding his current condition or fate — a common pattern in cases of prisoners of conscience, due to the lack of transparency by Saudi authorities and the widespread blackout imposed on prisons to cover up ongoing abuses.

Sanad Human Rights Organization reiterates its call on the Saudi authorities to immediately disclose the fate of Abdullah Yahya Al-Ghazwi, release him unconditionally, and provide appropriate compensation.
