On the second anniversary of Abdullah Al-Duraibi’s arrest: SANAD Organisation calls for his immediate release

On the second anniversary of Abdullah Al-Duraibi’s arrest in May 2022, SANAD Organisation for Human Rights is urging the Saudi authorities to release him immediately and unconditionally and to provide him with appropriate compensation.

It is noteworthy that in May 2022, Saudi state security forces raided the home of young Abdullah Al-Duraibi in Riyadh, confiscating all his electronic devices. The day after the raid, Saudi authorities summoned Al-Duraibi to the State Security headquarters, where he was arrested and forcibly disappeared. He remains missing to this day.

Forced disappearance is a serious crime that violates the most basic human rights. Abdullah Al-Duraibi is one of dozens of forcibly disappeared detainees in Saudi Arabia under the current repressive regime.
