The sentence of the Palestinian detainee Ayman Mohammed Ahmed Ghazal has ended.
Although the sentence of the Palestinian detainee Ayman Mohammed Ahmed Ghazal has ended, the Saudi authorities have not yet released him.
It is noteworthy that Ayman Mohammed Ahmed Ghazal, who was born in 1971 and worked as a sales representative, was arrested in April 2019 for his support of the resistance in Palestine. He was sentenced to four years in prison with deportation, but even after his sentence has ended, he remains arbitrarily detained in Saudi Arabia.
SANAD Organisation for Human Rights calls on the Saudi authorities for his immediate and unconditional release, arguing that his continued detention is a violation of Saudi law, which stipulates the necessity of releasing anyone who has served their sentence, in addition to the illegality of his arrest.
