The Saudi authorities have arrested the media figure Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajji without disclosing the reasons for his detention so far. Al-Hajji’s arrest is part of a series of arrests carried out by the Saudi authorities since the beginning of the year, targeting several social media influencers.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajji holds a doctoral degree in behavioral sciences and hosts several programs on YouTube, with one of the prominent ones being the ‘Adam’ podcast on Thamanya Radio. He has not been involved in any political activities.
In response, the Sanad Human Rights Organization condemns the Saudi authorities’ arrest of media personality Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajji and calls for his immediate release. The organization also urges the Saudi government to halt the ongoing campaign of arrests, which has caused widespread panic among social media influencers.
